Two weeks without an overlocker has felt like a very long time, too long for me not to do any sewing, so whilst Chloe was away on her residential trip I made her a little surprise!

A Skirt for All Seasons!

Since the spring seems to have a little difficulty in settling in this year I've made a denim skirt for Chloe, as I thought it would be suitable for all seasons!

Shades of Summer

I love the colours in this outfit I've made for Chloe. The wrap top is from Ottobre Design and I made the most of my ruffler for doing all the frills. The trousers are adapted from a Japanese book translated into French as Jolies tenues pout filette coquette. Now all we need is for the sun to come back...

Gathered Together

I love pretty gathers on summer clothes but I hate doing them, so I asked for a ruffler foot for Christmas and my lovely Mum obliged....Having played around a little with it I decided to be clever and use it to make a tiered skirt for Chloe using my maths instead of a pattern. I'm very pleased with the result...

Which then meant I had to make a tee shirt to match!

Summer Dresses....

... were a request of Chloe's this year, so I've started off with these two, there is one more to come but my overlocker has decided it needs some TLC, so that may have to wait a tiny bit longer than I hoped.
